Come and see Sekar Jaya's student musicians and dancers in action! Emiko Saraswati Susilo (GSJ Dance Director), and I Made Arnawa (GSJ Music Director), have designed a diverse program of pieces to highlight the achievements of both the beginning students and the more advanced performers. Repertoire will include traditional works such as Oleg Tamulilingan, Gabor, & Taruna Jaya, as well as new works for students of dance. The dancers will be accompanied by the a live Gamelan Gong Kebyar—an ensemble of bronze metallaphones, gongs, drums, and flutes— played by new workshop students and member performers of Sekar Jaya.
