The San Francisco Indonesian consulate commemorates 70 years of U.S.-Indonesian diplomatic relations with this impressive evening of Indonesian cultural performance featuring a range of performing troupes from around the San Francisco Bay Area. GSJ’s largest ensemble, the Gong Kebyar, will accompany the mesmerizing movement of company dancers on Wijaya Kusuma, a contemporary composition by past GSJ Guest Music Director, I Nyoman Windha. GSJ dancers and musicians will also perform traditional works at this first-come-first-served free event.
