Since its founding in 1979, Gamelan Sekar Jaya has provided valuable cross-cultural benefits to the Bay Area while fostering a profound artistic exchange that resonates in Bali and around the world. GSJ introduces Balinese arts to thousands of people each year and hosts an extensive education program, offering workshops and classes in schools and communities all around the San Francisco Bay Area. Help sustain and grow Gamelan Sekar Jaya — for its role in making the cultural landscape of the Bay Area even more vibrant and for the work it does to promote international cultural exchange and understanding.
