The Los Angeles Gamelan Festival 2025 will celebrate the 50th Teaching Anniversary of Burat Wangi founders, Bapak I Nyoman Wenten and Ibu Nanik Wenten.
LAGF will feature prominent gamelan groups and performers from all over the U.S.A., showcasing the spectrum of Indonesian arts, ranging from Sundanese to Balinese, from traditional repertoire to experimental music.
LAGF is committed to preserving and evolving the rich tradition of gamelan music. Our dedicated team of musicians and artists work tirelessly to bring Indonesian gamelan to the forefront of contemporary music, collaborating with diverse talents to create groundbreaking performances that honor tradition while pushing artistic boundaries.
